At Aidn, we believe in work-life balance and making sure everyone has time to recharge and enjoy life outside of work. That's why we have a system in place to register all time away and absences.

🌞 Humaans: For all absence and time away

We use our HR system Humaans to register all time away. Whether it's a vacation, Aidn day, or you need to be off sick, Humaans is the place to make sure your time away is properly recorded.

For more information on the different types of time off, please see the section here.

🕒 No Need to Track Hours (Except for Overtime)

At Aidn, we don't track hours in general. We want to ensure that everyone has the flexibility to manage their workload and personal commitments and trust you to do this well. The exception is overtime hours for those on a contract with rights to overtime pay 👇.

Overtime Hours: Making It Fair and Square

For those employees who have contracts with rights to overtime pay, we use Xledger to register overtime hours. Please make sure to clarify the need for overtime with your manager first. We don`t strive to work as many hours as possible, but we do recognize that there may be periods of time where it is conducive to make an extra push. You do not need to get approval hour by hour upfront, but please make sure there is an understanding of the need for extra work and what this is related to.

📅 Important: Registering Overtime Hours

If you're eligible for overtime pay, it's essential to register your overtime hours through Xledger. To ensure a smooth payroll process, please make sure to register and have your overtime hours approved by your manager no later than the 1st of every month. This will ensure that your overtime hours are included in the following month's payroll. You can find a how-to guide for registering overtime hours here.

The following apply:

50% overtime for all hours exceeding 7,5 hours per day until 21.00

100% after 18.00 on Saturday, all day Sunday and work after 21.00 all days
